Hola,
Gracias for making Arizona Luminaria part of your week. We are always grateful to hear from you.
Today we’re bringing you two articles about federal funding cuts affecting Indigenous communities and Native American institutions. The organizations at the center of these stories — Tohono O’odham Community College and Red Feather — are working to find alternative funding sources and continue their missions despite federal cuts or the threat of cuts. The stories emphasize how these programs help individuals improve their lives through better housing, education and career opportunities, with ripple effects for entire communities.
Plus, if you got your ballot in the mail, check out our voter guides for the special election in Congressional District 7.
