Weigh in on Tucsonâs proposed Parks and Recreation fee increases before the online comment portal closes on May 17. The steepest proposed changes would hit youth programs â with KIDCO rising from $31.25 to $50 per week and Schoolâs Out Camps doubling from $5 to $10 per day â and aquatics, where previously free services would now cost $30 per month for lap swim and $160 for private swim lessons. City officials say the changes are meant to help recover the cost of programs and facility maintenance and, if approved, would go into effect July 1, with some increasing incrementally through 2029. Residents can submit comments online ahead of a June 9 meeting, where Tucson City Council will consider adopting the new fee schedule. Review all of the proposed fee changes here.
