Join Arizona Luminaria and AZPM News to watch a free screening of our collaborative mini documentary on deaths in the Pima County jail followed by a panel discussion.
The event will take place March 18 at the University of Arizona Modern Languages Building, Room 350 at 5:30 p.m.
The documentary follows Arizona Luminaria reporter John Washington as he works on stories about the high rate of death in the local jail. Afterward, Washington will join in a discussion with other journalists and producers about the systemic failures, human stories and possible solutions to the problems at the jail.
