Arizonans can vote in the Presidential Preference Election on Tuesday, March 19.

This election, also sometimes called the presidential primary election, is only for voters who are registered as Democrats or Republicans. Independents are excluded. Same goes for voters registered with the Libertarian Party, Green Party or No Labels Party. You can check your own voter registration details using this tool.
Later, all registered voters, including independents, can vote for president and other state and local races in the Nov. 5 general election.
What if I want to vote early?
You can vote early in person now through Friday, March 15. Use this tool to find a polling place and remember to bring ID.
If you want to vote early in future elections, sign up for the Active Early Voting List so you automatically get a ballot by mail.
What if I want to vote by mail?
The deadline to vote by mail has passed but here’s how you can still vote. Take your ballot to an early voting location or polling place on Election Day, Tuesday, March 19 and drop it off without having to wait in line.
What if I have an emergency and can’t make it to a polling place on Election Day?
If you have an emergency between March 15 at 5 p.m and March 18 at 5 p.m. that keeps you from voting on Election Day, you can request to vote at an emergency voting center. Just show up with your ID and be prepared to sign a statement saying that an emergency hinders you from voting on March 19. See a list of emergency polling locations in Pima County here.
