In the closely watched U.S. Senate race, the Associated Press called veteran Marine and Democratic Arizona Rep. Ruben Gallego the victor over former television news anchor and Republican Kari Lake on Monday night.

In the race for U.S. House District 6 Democrat Kirsten Engel conceded to Republican Juan Ciscomani on Nov. 13 via a statement on X. “The voters have made their decision and we must respect it – I will not be the next Representative for Arizona’s 6th Congressional District, she wrote. “While we came up short, I couldn’t be prouder of the work we’ve put in.”

Ciscomani posted on X saying, “Honored and humbled to have earned the trust of #AZ06 for another 2 years!”

The Associated Press called the race Wednesday night with Ciscomani showing 49.6% of the votes and Engel 47.9%, as 95% of votes were counted.
